Tammy Boesch is a paramedical tattoo and permanent makeup artist based in Englewood, NJ, specializing in areola reconstruction for breast cancer survivors.
This work requires both technical precision and personal care in equal measure. Every procedure is private, unhurried, and tailored to what each patient actually needs, not a template applied to a difficult situation.
Tammy brings a paramedical background to every session, with a deep understanding that for many patients, this is not just a cosmetic procedure. It is the last part of a long journey.
What This Service Does
Using advanced paramedical tattoo techniques, Tammy creates realistic areolas and nipples with accurate color, dimension, and symmetry, custom matched to your skin tone and anatomy. Whether you are completing reconstruction or choosing a non-surgical path, this is a procedure designed for sensitive or scarred skin, performed in a calm and fully private setting.
Realistic depth, color, and dimension using advanced shading technique. The most requested procedure after mastectomy and reconstruction.
Restores symmetry and evenness where pigment has been lost or altered by surgery, radiation, or scarring.
Softens the appearance of surgical scarring by blending surrounding skin tone into the affected area.
Enhances or refines a reconstructed nipple with color and definition for a more natural result.
What to Expect
Every session starts with a conversation, not a procedure. Here is how it works.
Step 01
Tammy takes time to understand your goals, your medical history, and what outcome matters most to you. There is no pressure and no rush.
Step 02
Pigment is matched precisely to your skin tone. Placement and sizing are mapped with your input to ensure the result looks natural and balanced.
Step 03
Performed with a gentle technique designed for reconstructed or scarred skin. Most procedures take one to two hours in a calm, private environment.
Insurance Coverage
Under the Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998, health insurance plans that cover mastectomy are required to also cover reconstructive procedures, including nipple repigmentation. A superbill is provided after your procedure to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
